Brad Winkler

President and Owner

Hi. My name is Brad Winkler. I first visited The Villages in 2005 and I knew then that I always wanted to move here one day. Owning and operating Battery Boys was the perfect opportunity to accelerate those plans.

I have been an entrepreneur the last 19+ years, having owned another business. I am no stranger to owning and running a business plus all the long hours that go with it. I am also a graduate of Georgia State University with a BBA in Business Management.

Here at Battery Boys we are always seeking ways to improve our service and our products. We have become the largest Trojan Battery dealer in this area thanks to customers who demand only the best. We are excited about additional business prospects that we are working with other service providers to bring new and innovative products to Battery Boys customers.

My staff of service professionals and I are ready to serve your golf cart needs.

Beth WInkler

Beth WInkler

Owner

Hi, I’m Beth Winkler.

Yes, I am the wife of Brad Winkler but I am also one of the owners of Battery Boys. As a result I want only the best for all of our customers. It is my personal goal to provide 100% satisfaction with every phone call and every service appointment that we set up.

Originally I had a background in retail working as an Assistant Manager for several national chains. Therefore I have been well trained in customer service and addressing customer needs without the pressure of “just make the sale”. Battery Boys has never been about high pressure sales tactics but more about addressing the customer’s needs.

Between my son Jordan and me we primarily answer the incoming calls. We will always make sure you get the products you need to make the joy of golf carting far more fun!

Technician

Yes, I am a second generation Battery Boy.

Currently I’m working part time while I pursue a B.S. degree in Business at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

My background the last 7 years has been working as a certified pharmacy technician. I have been trained to give great customer service and to help people get questions answered and setting up appointments. I am more than happy to assist anyone in whatever battery needs you have so that you are confident you will get exactly what you need for your cart.

It is a pleasure to be working for Battery Boys. I have worked in environments where customer service was the number one priority. I love the fact that Battery Boys believes in the same concept. I love being out in the field working first hand with our customers and helping them set up their carts properly.

I was born and raised in Florida so this is my home. I have lived in other parts of the country but feel its a joy to be back in Florida and working for Battery Boys

I look forward to meeting as many people in our service area and hope to be the technician assigned to your cart.

Technician

My name is Neal Kyser.

I have worked for a couple auto repair shops in The Villages area so I know the type of service residents here have come to expect. Some of those shops also did work on golf carts so when I discovered that Battery Boys was hiring I really wanted to work for this company. It is a joy to be given the opportunity to serve this community and the surrounding areas working for a company that truly values their customers.

What I enjoy most is getting to meet all our customers. Since we are a mobile service I enjoy the first-hand experience of meeting people personally and meeting your needs mechanically.

I was born and raised right here in this area. Since I live here I think of everyone I meet not just as a customer but as a neighbor.

I hope to be the technician assigned to work on your cart.
